Laurel Suite

The spacious rooms of the Laurel Suite are decorated with Jane Fitzpatrick's – Ann's beautiful, ever gracious mom – favorite flowered wallpaper. The elegant king-size bed sits within a large bay window where flowing silk curtains and shutters encircle the area. In the sitting area, the rosy pink fireplace tiles echo the color of the sisters' dresses in the painting that hangs above the mantle. An overly comfortable sofa and two antique chairs surround the marble-topped coffee table, a perfect place for late night snacks or early morning newspaper reading.

A separate dressing room contains a glass-covered, tulle-skirted vanity and pretty tufted stool as well as the chaise longue so necessary for lounging. Oriental rugs cover the parquet floors throughout these two rooms. The bathroom has a soaking tub with a glass enclosed, walk-in shower and marble sink.
